onething is a part of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri (IHOP–KC). Beginning in 1999, Mike Bickle gathered a few young adults together to start a prayer meeting that has continued night and day ever since. With every prayer meeting having a full worship team, we total 84 two-hour prayer meetings a week with over 1,000 people involved, continuing over seven years of unceasing night and day prayer, and continue to watch the fire on the altar burn unceasingly. Out of this seedbed emerges onething.
God is raising up a movement of young adults and onething is dedicated to challenging them with our three primary mandates: the End Times, Intimacy with God, Intercession and Justice. Each year, onething has over nine conferences around the nation and globally.
In addition to traveling around the nation, we have established the Leadership Network that is specifically designed to equip and empower leaders of young adults. Our heart is to actively equip leaders of this generation, understanding that they are imperative in raising an army of young people who will fully pursue the first and second commandments as a global prayer movement arises.
